As we bid farewell to 2023 and look forward to 2024, we are delighted to share the achievements that have defined the year for Ezenics. Through dedication, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence, we not only met but exceeded expectations.

Client Savings: A Testimony to Success

One of the most rewarding aspects of our journey in 2023 has been the significant savings we’ve generated for our valued clients. We are excited to share $85.4M in identified savings, measured reductions of 1.19 GW and 742 million kWh, and $9.9M in Demand-Side Management Savings and Incentives, a testament to our team’s innovative solutions and client-centric approach.

Key Strategies and Achievements

Behind these savings are a series of key strategies and achievements that define our success story:

  • A commitment to ensuring good quality data and continued data storage – data storage is the foundation to our analytics and achieved savings results. This underlying layer is critical and our team spends significant time in ensuring good data quality.
  • Enhancements to and New Algorithms – this year, the Ezenics team enhanced several algorithms related to economizer operation and water-side equipment in order to improve results and meet new system requirements. The Ezenics team continuously incorporates new algorithms to capture additional savings opportunities and address specific pain points for our clients; this year, we added a number of new algorithms to our library.
  • Enhancements to our Demand Side Management Strategies to maximize savings and incentives; increasing Peak Load Management Utility Bill savings by more than 8.6%
  • Process Improvements – the Ezenics team includes a number of process “junkies” who are always looking to improve our setup processes and ensure quality results for our clients. 2023 was no different, process improvements led to higher quality data, improved analytics results, and increased opportunities for savings.
  • New Features & Functionalities for our Client Tools
â—Ź Graph Tool Upgrades including new timelines features, operational graphs, and a reconfiguration of graph tool layout to maximize graph space
â—Ź Deployment of new tools for Analyzing and Validating Meter and Invoicing Data
â—Ź Portfolio Navigator Updates enhancing workflow with faults and alarming, efficiency improvements to reduce load time, and unification of notes
● Introductions of “Teams” Tools to create custom user groups to save and share analytics reporting and graphs
● Operational Guidelines™ updates to customize asset management and exceptions checking guidelines for our clients
